It looks like the Statewide system does have encrypted frequencies that are sensitive like drug task force type stuff but it also appears that police dispatch are in the clear for the most part. Simply go to the database, go to Michigan, go to your county and the listings are there including Niles City. I'm curious as to what frequencies you have programmed in your radio now. You would have to try and figure it out yourself if Berrien County Fire is on the p25 system as listed and Niles city is involved in all of those talk groups or if Niles city is still using their old VHF high frequencies. Again, if the listings are accurate it would appear that the police are rebroadcast on 453.975.

Your County Fire dispatch is talk group 3130 and Niles City Police is talk group 13026. Looks like your County Berrien uses the state p25 phase one Statewide system MPSCS. I live in Pennsylvania and don't know the first thing about Michigan but it only took me a few minutes to see what the deal is, that is if your State's database is accurate which it probably is. I also see that you've been on RR since 2011 and you have over a hundred post so this would be a good time to learn about the database which has all the information that you are looking for. Somebody here will help you I'm sure.Īs far as having it work perfectly and now it doesn't I see that you're asking for the Niles City police frequency so you must have been missing that and you live in Niles City.

GRECOM PSR 800 NXDN UPDATE

Don't know what update you would have put in but I don't think that radio has been supported for long time. Somebody will help you with the psr-800, you said that you are using the right program for the 800 which you would have gotten off of a CD disc that came with the radio. Although they are P 2 capable they just don't work on my system. In 2015 my County went Phase 2 simulcast tdma rendering my GRE Whistler radios useless and they are in a closet now.

I haven't used my psr-800 or the rebranded Whistler radios the 1095 and the trx-1 for a while now. In its day it was a great radio but these days with simulcast distortion secondary to LSM it's kind of obsolete now but depending on what frequencies you're listening to it could be a very good radio for you.

I first got my psr-800 I'm going to guess around 2011 Maybe? I just don't remember. Hey cheese, I'm probably not going to be much help to you but I saw your post and I thought I'd steer you in the right direction.
